Created to provide a voice for philanthropists, Dame Stephanie Shirley's site contains many inspiring videos from active philanthropists. More on

Association of Charitable Foundations (ACF)
The ACF is a UK-wide support organisation for grantmaking trusts and foundations. It has over 300 members, including large independent foundations; local and community trusts; family trusts; corporate foundations; and broadcasting appeals.  More on ACF.

Cass Business School Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy
This Centre is the UK's first research Centre for Charitable Giving and Philanthropy. Its mission is to build a better understanding of charitable giving and philanthropy for donors, charities and policy-makers. Its aim is to promote the strategic role of philanthropy in meeting today's social needs.  More on Cass.

Institute for Philanthropy
The Institute for Philanthropy, established in 2000, provides donor education programmes, builds donor networks and works to raise the awareness and understanding of philanthropy. More on the Institute for Philanthropy.

New Philanthropy Capital (NPC)
NPC's mission is to "help make effectiveness central to how charities work and how funders give."  It undertakes research to create an understanding of where the need is greatest, it offers advice to donors and their advisors, and it creates tools to help charities communicate their results more effectively.
