We are ambitious to turn around even more lives through our highly effective venture philanthropy model, but to do this we need your support. Our portfolio charities and social enterprises are helping over 485,000 more people a year since Impetus invested in them. By donating money to Impetus you can help us continue to increase this number, and work towards breaking the cycle of poverty.

Our current donors have said there are many reasons why they choose to give to Impetus, including:
- The long-term impact of donations: We give funding for capacity building (not individual projects) in order to accelerate the growth of innovative charities and social enterprises. This means the impact of your donation will be seen for many years after you have given.
- Multiplying the value of donations: We are able to make £4 of value for every £1 of funding we give to a charity or social enterprise, through our use of pro bono expertise, partnership investment and additional funds raised.
- Proven results: Impetus charities and social
enterprises are helping over 485,000 more people each year. - The rigour of our selection process: since our formation we have received more than 2,000 applications and invested in 28 organisations.
- Accountability: We only pay out funding to our charities and social enterprises when agreed milestones are reached.
- Regular reporting and opportunities to engage with our charities: Twice a year, we issue an Impact Report, which details the progress of our portfolio charities and social enterprises. In addition, we invite donors to exclusive events, such as breakfast conversations with the chief executives of our portfolio organisations, visits to our charities and networking events.

- Philanthropic satisfaction: On top of all the reasons previously mentioned, there is of course the satisfaction of knowing your gift is making a real difference to poor people's lives.
