Impetus Trust

There are a great many ways to give to Impetus, and we would be happy to discuss what's right for you. A number of these also have tax benefits.

Direct financial contribution
You can give by cheque, transfer or standing order.  Please contact us if you would like our bank details.

Contributing from your pre-tax salary
If your company is part of the 'Give As You Earn' scheme, you can give directly from your pre-tax salary.  Charities Aid Foundation offers the UK's largest payroll giving scheme.

Shares
No capital gains tax is payable on shares donated to charity.  Organisations such as Sharegift and the Charities Aid Foundation.  can advise you on further. Impetus welcomes donations of shares - please consider this option.

Legacies. Leaving a gift to Impetus in your will is a wonderful way to ensure that your determination to help more people living in poverty to turn around their lives will have an impact for generations to come. In addition, no inheritance tax will arise on the estate of the donor and on death the estate will be reduced in value. Please contact us to find out more about how this can be done.

Sponsored 'Challenge Events'
A number of people have raised money for Impetus by taking part in sponsored events, such as marathons or bike races. See this short film on the challenge event in which our donor Charlie Troup participated on behalf of Impetus.

Quotation marks

Our staff love the fact that the charities progress. Returning to work with a charity several years after you first meet and seeing that the work you did set them on a successful path is just phenomenal.
