Why not take part in a sponsored "challenge" event, such as
a marathon or bike ride, and raise money for
Impetus? A number of our individual and
corporate supporters have found this a particularly rewarding
way in which to give.
Past sponsored event:
Three Peaks Challenge 2011

On 23-24 July, Impetus donor Nick Charman (sitting second from
left), Impetus Development Officer Kristina Abengoza (sitting far
right), her husband Andrew Dennison (standing behind Kristina) and
five other friends took on the National Three Peaks Challenge,
raising nearly £10k for Impetus.
Enjoying enviable weather conditions, the group successfully
completed the challenging climb to the three highest peaks in
Scotland, England, and Wales in less than 24 hours.
A special mention goes to Nick, who raced up and down Snowdon in
three hours (usually takes four) so that he could complete all the
climbs - including the descents - within the 24 hours!
Kristina said about the challenge, "Three Peaks is just one of
those things you have to do at least once in your life. This has to
be one of the highlights of my year so far, not only because I
completed it, but also because we were able to raise money for
Impetus. What could be better?"
