Over 150 talented individuals have contributed their professional skills to Impetus and our portfolio charities and social enterprises to help build their capacity. These "pro bono experts" regularly comment on how fulfilling they find working with us as they are able to use their professional skills for maximum social impact.
Rather than just contributing your time, the Impetus approach enables you to use the very skills you have built up in your professional life, to transform the social impact of an Impetus charity or social enterprise.
You can be confident of the long-term impact of your work with the charity or social enterprise. All projects undertaken by Impetus pro bono experts form an integral part of the overall capacity-building plan. Rather than being an isolated project the work you do will help the whole organisation.
Impetus projects can be very beneficial for your career development, as they allow you to use your skills in a new context. Ditlev Schwanenflugel, Eden McCallum consultant and Impetus pro bono expert, recently commented that out of the about 47 commercial projects and five charity projects he had done in his career, the charity projects were "in my top six on satisfaction and learning".
