One of the ways Impetus leverages donors' money and helps the charities and social enterprises in its portfolio to increase their income is by introducing them to other grantmakers willing to fund individual charities directly, alongside Impetus. We call this form of leverage "co-investment".
This is often of special interest to grantmaking foundations with a specific charitable focus. They find it a particularly beneficial approach as:
