How to apply
Please note that we do not fund projects or offer funding alone. We receive a large number of applications, some of which would not be eligible for Impetus support as the applicant does not meet all of our selection criteria. For that reason, the first step in the application process is to submit our selection criteria form.
Impetus is now an approved provider for the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund
Impetus has been selected as an approved provider for the Government's Investment and Contract Readiness Fund (ICRF). The £10 million fund is managed by The Social Investment Business on behalf of the Office for Civil Society and aims to ensure social ventures are better equipped to secure new forms of investment and compete for public service contracts.
Over the next three years the ICRF will provide grants of between £50,000 and £150,000 to social ventures that have the potential for high growth and delivering positive social impact. These grants will be used to purchase strategic support from approved providers to help facilitate that growth. Social ventures will have to work in partnership with an approved investment and contract readiness provider to make a grant application to the Investment and Contract Readiness Fund.
Please note the following:
1. At this initial stage of our work with ICRF we are asking that social ventures we support via ICRF must have undergone our screening and due diligence process, which can take up to six months. This is so that we can provide the most effective support based on detailed knowledge of each organisation's need.
2. Our application process and selection criteria remain the same, and we ask that you flag your interest in seeking ICRF partnership with Impetus in that process on the eligibility checker.
