Impetus Trust

We are aware that applications can be very time-consuming, so our eligibility checker will help you ascertain if your organisation might be eligible for Impetus support.

Please answer the following questions before you submit an application.  However, eligibility alone does not guarantee Impetus support.  If you would like to find out more about how we select charities, please see our selection criteria.

Please answer the following with either yes or no:

  1. Is the organisation a registered charity or social enterprise?
  2. Is the organisation's headquarters in England (and not Scotland, Wales, Ireland, or any other country?)
  3. Has the organisation been operational, with audited accounts for at least three years?
  4. Does the organisation have an income of over £250,000 a year?
  5. Does the organisation focus on working with economically disadvantaged people?
  6. Are there available figures that show the impact of the organisation's work, eg, number of people who have entered education/gained employed/not re-offended?
  7. Is the organisation ambitious to grow and expand its reach?
  8. Does the organisation seek the Impetus venture philanthropy model of hands-on management support, specialist expertise and capacity-building funding?
  9. Is the organisation part of an umbrella organisation/network?
  10. Is the organisation seeking funding for a particular project/building?

If you have answered yes to all questions numbered 1 to 8, and no to questions 9 and 10, you may be eligible for Impetus support.  Read about how to apply.

If you have not answered any questions in this way, or have any specific questions about our selection criteria, please contact us before you submit an application.
