The IntoUniversity scheme had been running successfully in London for five years. Around 60 young people from families with no prior history of higher education had gone to university as a result of the support offered by IntoUniversity. The leadership team approached us with a clear vision and a strong model of delivery, at the same time recognising the need for support in the first phase of growth, to five new centres. This was also an opportunity to partner with the Sutton Trust and to leverage our mutual resources in an important area of need, that of widening access to higher education. |

The package from Impetus combining strategic funding, co-investment and pro bono expertise is helping us to scale up. What is also different about this partnership is the Investment Director’s in-depth understanding of our needs and her ability to provide us with the right kind of support, be it strategic or operational.
