OC&C Strategy Consultants
We would like to thank OC&C Strategy Consultants for the value they have added to the work that Impetus does for its charities. OC&C Strategy Consultants have carried out a number of projects for the Impetus charities including marketing support; income generation review and due diligence. OC&C Strategy Consultants 'bring clear thinking to the most complex issues facing top management today'. They do this by 'developing unique strategies that are radical and creative, but at the same time practical, cost effective and action-oriented'.

ISIS Equity Partners
Impetus entered into a five year partnership in 2007 with the private equity firm, ISIS. ISIS has committted to contributing both financial support and operational expertise for the charities that Impetus backs. During the partnership, ISIS will work with the Impetus charity applicants in carrying out due diligence and through its geographically spread offices in the UK, it will also play a part in the post investment development process of the Impetus charities by monitoring progress and achievement of agreed targets through to actively working with the charity management teams. The relationship between Impetus and ISIS demonstrates the close links between the venture philanthropy and private equity worlds.

British Venture Capital Association
In June 2007, Impetus was named as the Charity of the Year by the BVCA’s Chairman, Wol Kolade. In Wol’s own words: “The reason why Impetus stood out for me was first of all because it’s such a good fit with the way we work in private equity, and secondly because it has such a direct impact on the effectiveness of a whole range of other charities, and on the difference they can make in their chosen fields”.

As leaders of the venture philanthropy movement in Europe, two of the Impetus key members have been involved in the formation of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA). These include the founder and chair of Impetus, Stephen Dawson and Doug Miller, one of the Impetus trustees and chair of the EVPA
