What they do: Keyfund Federation works with marginalised young people to re-engage them in society and help them reach their potential. Keyfund does this through a managed grant programme which incentivises young people to develop and execute their own projects. Keyfund-trained facilitators support the youth-led projects and the development of key life skills such as negotiating, dealing with people in power and authority and resolving conflict. .

What they do: Camfed International is dedicated to breaking the poverty trap in rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa by educating girls. Camfed supports rural girls through their secondary education and the post-school years to become “activists” who, through employment or small enterprise, break their own cycle of poverty and go on to support their families and communities.

What they do: The Fairtrade Foundation works to improve the lives of poor and marginalised farmers in developing countries by promoting fairer forms of trade. Currently around 426 producer groups, representing over 7 million people – farmers, workers and their families from 59 countries – benefit from Fairtrade.

What they do: IntoUniversity inspires and engages young people from deprived backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.

What they do: Acumen is based in North East England and promotes social and economic regeneration through learning, enterprise and employment.

What they do:

Street League’s vision is to transform the lives of disadvantaged men and women in the UK using the power of sport. They achieve this through a structured football and education programme that helps build confidence, improve health, extend social networks, and develop skills towards long-term education, employment and independence.
