It's time to start practicing your baton hand-offs!
Looking for a corporate challenge in London that brings your team together and makes a real difference? The Impetus Relay is a four-hour team running event on Clapham Common, designed for colleagues who want competition, connection and the chance to help young people overcome barriers to education and employment.
Over 1 million young people are currently not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), and a staggering 1 in 6 have never managed to land a job at all. For young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the slope is even steeper – they are twice as likely to be left behind.
It’s a heavy reality, but we are on a mission to change it. And we want you to help us do it!
On Saturday, 12th September 2026, the Impetus Relay will be taking over Clapham Common in London for a four-hour corporate team challenge that’s all about tactics, energy and turning those statistics around.
Whether you prefer to take the course on solo, buddy up as a pair, or enter as a team of four, here are four reasons why you need to get registered today.
1. A fresh relay format
If you are tired of the standard 10K charity run, the Impetus Relay is the antidote. The endurance format brings a unique tactical element to fundraising, redefining what a corporate running challenge can look like.
Whether your team's collective goal is to hit a half-marathon, a full marathon, or simply test how many KMs you can rack up together, it forces you to collaborate and strategise.
2. Flexible for every fitness level
We put four hours on the clock, and you complete as many laps of our 2.5km loop as you want. That’s it!
There are zero pacing police here. Want to sprint lap after lap and aim for an ultra-marathon? Do it. Want to walk a lap while catching up on your favourite podcast? Amazing. You can push for a personal best or treat it as a casual stroll in the park - it is completely up to you. Your contribution will still make all the difference however far you go.
The iconic Clapham Common Bandstand, pictured above, forms the centre of the relay course.

This is the ultimate day out to bond with your colleagues outside of Microsoft Teams, get a little healthy competition going against rival firms, and network with hundreds of professionals from across the PE and corporate sectors who share a passion for giving back. Bring your colleagues, friends, and family along to enjoy music, food, and brilliant park atmosphere while you clock up the distance.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of having your medal placed around your neck after months of training.
4. A challenge that changes young lives
The absolute best reason to lace up your trainers and join the Impetus Relay is the direct impact your steps will make.
All the funds raised from the relay go directly to Impetus, helping us back brilliant youth charities that give talented young people the educational and career opportunities they deserve. You get fit, have fun, and help smash the youth employment crisis all at once. Gather your colleagues, pick your strategy, and lock in your spots the ultimate corporate team challenge.
